The function of the DDS Double is that it applies spinal decompression within the lumbar region through Vertical Air Pressure (VAP™) technology. As the DDS Double is being inflated, it expands from approximately 5 ¼” to just over 8”, seating down onto the pelvis as its foundation while anchoring underneath the ribcage pushing upwards. This stretches the torso vertically, diverting weight-bearing forces away, and reducing the pressure within the lumbar spine region, significantly reducing pain levels.
